Applied Materials is hiring a full-time Electronics and Electro-Mechanical Technician in Austin, Texas, to perform routine to moderately complex design, testing, checkout, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, assembly, and installation of electronics and electro-mechanical systems. The role includes working with schematics, test equipment, prototypes, NPI installations, field upgrades, documentation, and rework, while following safety and clean-room procedures. The position is physically demanding and requires analytical, problem-solving, communication, and hands-on technical skills; it has no supervisory responsibilities and no travel or relocation eligibility.
