Description
Our partner, a prime contractor for a US Government Customer, is seeking Cyber Network Defense Analysts (CNDA) to investigate and diagnose the severity of breaches. They provide remote and onsite technical assistance, proactive hunting, rapid incident response, and immediate investigation and resolution using host-based, network-based, and cloud-based cybersecurity analysis capabilities. CNDAs monitor and analyze network activity to identify and report suspicious behavior, perform event correlation, and recommend proactive measures to contain incidents. This role involves characterizing network traffic, coordinating with cyber defense staff, documenting and escalating incidents, performing trend analysis, providing daily summary reports, and using cyber defense tools for continuous monitoring and analysis of system activity. The CNDA will also prepare and update manuals, evaluate methods, plan complex assignments, and conduct analyses to resolve complex issues.
