Description
Abacus Technology is looking for a full-time Cyber Security Analyst to join the AFCENT Network Operations and Security Center (NOSC) at Shaw AFB. The role involves analyzing network intrusion detection systems, conducting vulnerability assessments, developing countermeasures against intrusions, installing and managing security devices like IDS/IPS and forensic tools, assisting in documenting sensor processes, analyzing firewall and server logs, identifying and containing security threats, performing network security monitoring, writing custom scripts for cybersecurity toolsets, and providing LAN/WAN support. The analyst will also need to work in a 24/7/365 environment, potentially covering shifts outside of scheduled times, and traveling to CONUS sites for TDY support.
