Description

Atwell, LLC is hiring a Cyber Security Engineer to join its Technology Services team and help build and advance a Zero Trust security architecture. The role involves designing and managing identity and access controls, privileged access, endpoint security, cloud and hybrid security, automation, incident response, architecture reviews, and security documentation. It is a hybrid position based in Orlando, Florida, or Southfield, Michigan, with a stated annual compensation range of $106,000–$130,200 plus a standard employee bonus.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Required Previous Experiences: 5+ years of cybersecurity engineering, identity and access management, infrastructure security, or related experience
Hands-on experience implementing and managing Zero Trust security architecture in an enterprise environment
Experience with identity and access management and privileged access or least-privilege security models
Experience implementing enterprise security controls involving identity, authentication, privileged access, endpoint security, and access governance
Preferred Qualifications: Experience building or maturing a Zero Trust program in a medium or large enterprise
Experience evaluating, implementing, or managing Zero Trust platforms
Experience securing cloud and hybrid environments
Hands-on experience with scripting, APIs, or orchestration tools for security automation
Familiarity with identity governance, privileged access management, and access certification processes
Experience with cloud-native security controls and security posture management
Knowledge of network segmentation, micro-segmentation, and software-defined perimeter concepts
Familiarity with NIST Zero Trust Architecture, CIS Controls, and other security frameworks
Experience supporting cloud, infrastructure, or security transformation initiatives
Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as Security+, CySA+, CISSP, CCSP, AZ-500, or SC-300
