LTS is hiring a remote Cyber Security Engineer to support cybersecurity engineering, risk management, and security modernization for enterprise healthcare systems in the Department of Veterans Affairs. The role focuses on AWS cloud security, identity and access management, encryption, logging, monitoring, vulnerability management, configuration hardening, RMF/ATO support, compliance documentation, and integration of security into architecture, CI/CD, testing, and deployment. The position requires a bachelor’s degree, at least five years of cybersecurity engineering experience in federal, cloud, healthcare, or regulated environments, and familiarity with AWS security services, federal compliance frameworks, risk management systems, and secure configuration practices.
