Genesis10 is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer - Threat Detection for a hybrid, 6+ month contract with a global financial institution. The role focuses on building, tuning, and maintaining threat detection logic across cloud and on-premises environments, ingesting security telemetry, developing detection-as-code pipelines, mapping detections to MITRE ATT&CK, and collaborating with analysts and incident responders to improve detection quality and response effectiveness. Candidates need at least three years of relevant cybersecurity or security operations experience, hands-on log and telemetry analysis, experience with cloud security monitoring technologies, and strong analytical and documentation skills. The pay range is up to $64.82 per hour.
