Description
The Cyber Security Firewall Administrator will deploy, configure, monitor, and maintain enterprise firewalls and remote access/VPN systems for the Chicago Transit Authority. The role includes managing Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortinet, and Check Point firewalls; creating and optimizing firewall rules and access control lists; analyzing logs and security events; applying patches; troubleshooting connectivity and policy issues; administering IPsec and SSL VPNs; integrating with identity and access management systems; and conducting compliance audits. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, Cisco security or cyber security certification, and three to five years of firewall administration or related experience.
