Description
Wellmark is hiring a Cybersecurity Intern for its 2027 Summer Internship Program, starting in May 2027 on a hybrid schedule from its Des Moines headquarters. The intern will support Security Operations Center activities, infrastructure testing and monitoring, security-tool configuration, code development, process optimization, dark-web threat analysis, and cyber kill-chain and threat-response enhancements. Applicants must be current students pursuing an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related program, with knowledge of Python, PowerShell, and Bash, along with strong troubleshooting, risk-analysis, communication, and critical-thinking skills. The position does not accept applicants requiring immigration sponsorship.
