Pacific Life is hiring a Senior Security Engineer for its Operational Risk and Resilience team to own the design, governance, and continuous improvement of a Cyber Security Review program. The role leads security reviews of technology projects, purchases, and organizational changes; assesses control gaps and emerging risks; manages an external managed service provider; and reports program metrics to stakeholders. It requires at least six years of security engineering, risk management, or related technical experience, with a hybrid schedule of four days on-site and one day remote in either Newport Beach, California, or Omaha, Nebraska. Base pay ranges from $113,490 to $138,710, with additional incentive pay and medical, dental, vision, and wellbeing benefits.
