Description

Spektrum is hiring a Cyber Security Section Head to lead a team of 3–4 Cyber Security and COMSEC personnel supporting CSU Ramstein’s NATO mission. The role covers cyber security solution development, security architecture, risk assessment, incident response, audits, monitoring, and enterprise security services, including boundary protection, data loss prevention, and antimalware. It requires a valid NATO COSMIC Top-Secret-ATOMAL clearance, extensive Windows Server and Trellix security experience, relevant degrees or extensive experience, and CISM or CISSP certification. The position is full-time and on-site in Ramstein, Germany, with some travel to other NATO sites.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree from a nationally certified university in a related discipline, plus two years of post-related experience; alternatively, six or more years of extensive and progressive relevant experience in lieu of the degree.
Required Previous Experiences: At least 5 years of Windows Server security hardening experience, including security baseline implementation, policy enforcement, vulnerability mitigation, and system compliance.
At least 3 years of experience with Trellix ePolicy Orchestrator and Trellix Endpoint Security, including data loss prevention and application control.
At least 2 years of experience with system security, security architecture, network security engineering, security governance, and risk management.
Experience with security incident handling, interpreting cyber security audit results, and conducting risk assessments.
Experience identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities.
Experience supporting NATO Enterprise CIS, including NATO command structure, ACO and ACT, and NATO security policy and directives.
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of Palo Alto Enterprise firewalls, public key infrastructure, and McAfee Endpoint Security Enterprise solutions.
Experience with Windows Server 2022, 2019, and 2016, and Windows 11 and 10 environments.
Experience managing centralized endpoint security solutions, particularly Trellix, and using Nessus vulnerability scanners.
Knowledge of server, network, and storage virtualization technologies, including VMware vSphere, ESX, NSX, and vSAN.
Fundamental knowledge of cloud technologies.
Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
Basic understanding of disaster recovery and business continuity concepts.
Prior experience working in an international environment comprising military and civilian elements.
CGRC/CAP, CASP+, Cloud+, PenTest+, Security+, or GSEC certification.
ITIL v3 or v4 Foundation certification.
NATO COMPUSEC Practitioner Level 1 and Level 2 certifications.
NATO CIS Security Officer certification.
Additional security certifications such as CISM, CISSP, CISSO, CPTE, CySA+, FITSP-A, GCSA, CISA, CISSP-ISSEP, GSLC, GSNA, CEH, GIAC, or ISC2.
