Description
9th Way Insignia is seeking a Cybersecurity Architect to support the Department of Veterans Affairs Cybersecurity Operations and Services Enterprise program. The role defines and assesses enterprise security architectures across Zero Trust, cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments; develops architecture roadmaps, reference patterns, security requirements, and transition plans; evaluates system designs and control dependencies; advises technical teams and leadership; and produces architecture documentation and executive briefings. The position requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience and at least ten years of enterprise security architecture, systems architecture, or cybersecurity engineering experience, with knowledge of Zero Trust, identity and access management, network segmentation, cloud security, and NIST and RMF frameworks. The salary range is $98,135–$150,000 USD, and the position is contingent upon contract award.
