Description
The CYP Assistant works directly with children and youth in a Department of Defense child and youth program, developing and implementing developmentally appropriate activities, maintaining safe indoor and outdoor environments, supervising participants, supporting special-needs children, communicating with parents and employees, documenting development, and assisting with program compliance and accreditation. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of required training, drug and physical testing, E-Verify, and a background investigation; entry-level candidates need no prior experience, while intermediate and target-level candidates have specified experience and credential requirements.
