Description
The CYP Cook prepares and cooks nutritious meals and snacks for children and youth in center- or facility-based food service operations, following USDA and CACFP standards. The role includes preparing meats, poultry, seafood, vegetables, sauces, and gravies; cooking and portioning meals; modifying recipes; maintaining kitchen cleanliness and equipment; storing food safely; and complying with sanitation, security, fire, and child-protection reporting requirements. Applicants must be at least 18, have a high school diploma or equivalent, complete required training, pass a physical and E-Verify, and meet federal suitability requirements.
