Description
HDR is hiring Dam Safety Engineers-in-Training (EITs) and Professional Engineers for its growing national Hydropower Practice in multiple locations across the United States. The Dam Safety EIT will support dam and water-retaining-structure inspections, engineering assessments, analyses, designs, risk assessments, and preparation of technical contract documents for hydropower, pumped-storage, and dam-safety projects. The role requires an engineering bachelor's degree and EIT certification, with preferred experience in civil or geotechnical engineering, dams, hydropower, FERC dam-safety processes, geotechnical software, instrumentation, subsurface exploration, and technical communication.
