Description
The Greater Philadelphia YMCA is hiring a Dance, Arts & Enrichment Instructor / Kid Zone Team Member to teach and support specialized progressive or competitive sports and enrichment programs such as dance, gymnastics, martial arts, synchronized swimming, golf, tennis, or birthday parties. The role involves coaching participants, implementing lesson plans, maintaining safety and cleanliness, managing behavior, communicating YMCA rules, completing incident reports, and providing excellent service to members and participants. Candidates need some college or equivalent education, at least three years of specialized sport experience, positive coaching and communication skills, sustained concentration, and the ability to physically spot participants.
