LIOM Health AG is hiring an experimental data scientist to analyze optical spectroscopy and other experimental data from in-vitro samples and in-vivo skin measurements. The role involves processing and evaluating data, assessing quality, performance metrics, and noise characteristics, interpreting results using scientific literature and company libraries, and documenting findings for internal stakeholders. Candidates need a relevant master's or PhD or equivalent algorithm-development experience, strong scientific-literature skills, high attention to detail, and at least three years of Python experience; experience with signal processing, optics, photonics, machine learning, or wearable sensors is a plus. The role does not offer work-permit sponsorship for non-EU/EFTA nationals.
