Description
Xcel Energy is hiring a Data Analytics Intern in Texas to support the data analytics team by transforming utility data into actionable insights for operational efficiency, customer experience, grid reliability, and sustainable energy initiatives. The intern will work with large energy datasets, develop Power BI dashboards, perform exploratory analysis and statistical modeling, collaborate with cross-functional teams, validate data quality, and automate analytics processes. The role is intended for a current student starting on May 31, 2027, with a possible extension, and requires full-time summer availability and in-person commuting under a hybrid work policy. The anticipated base pay is $20.90 to $24.60 per hour, with pension, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and holidays.
