Description

The CDC Foundation is hiring a Data Analytics and Insights Specialist to support data solutions, dashboards, reporting tools, visualizations, Smartsheet configurations, and operational and program data analysis. The role works across program and organizational teams to translate data into actionable insights, supports performance measures and data quality, and provides user training and technical support. Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, public health, program evaluation, information systems, business, computer science, statistics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
Required Previous Experiences: At least three years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, program analytics, business systems support, or a related field.
Experience analyzing data and translating findings into reports, visualizations, and practical insights.
Experience developing reports or dashboards using Smartsheet, Power BI, Tableau, Salesforce, Excel, or a comparable platform.
Experience designing end-to-end Smartsheet solutions incorporating forms, reports, dashboards, formulas, cross-sheet references, automations, and advanced platform capabilities.
Experience gathering business or reporting requirements from stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Salesforce reporting, customer relationship management systems, enterprise resource planning systems, or similar platforms.
Familiarity with data visualization principles and executive-reporting practices.
Experience supporting nonprofit, public health, healthcare, government, or mission-driven organizations.
Smartsheet Core Product Certification or willingness to obtain certification within the first year of employment.
Exposure to data governance, data-quality management, business process mapping, or system implementation projects.
