Description

The Data & AI Governance Lead – S4+ designs, embeds, and operates enterprise-grade data and AI governance across the S4+ program. The role ensures data, analytics, and AI assets are trustworthy, compliant, and scalable. Key responsibilities include owning governance delivery, establishing governance-by-design expectations, embedding controls for data ownership, stewardship, quality, privacy, security, and Responsible AI, partnering with architects, tracking risks, and ensuring BAU-readiness post-go-live.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Delivering data governance and/or AI governance in large programs.
Embedding ownership, stewardship, data quality and Responsible AI by design.
Operating with board-safe judgment while remaining outcome-focused.
Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency in data governance, data management, and Responsible AI practices.
Understanding of privacy, security, regulatory, and AI risk obligations.
Ability to identify characteristics of trusted, AI-ready data.
Capable of embedding governance into delivery processes efficiently.
Strong ability to act as the primary point of governance accountability.
Expertise in defining and meeting BAU readiness criteria for governance.
Skilled in setting up early-life support routines for governance post-launch.
