Description

GoEngineer is hiring a Data and Analytics Manager to lead a four-person Data and Insights team in a player-coach role. The manager will prioritize work, coach and develop data professionals, and contribute to data architecture, analytics, reporting, data warehousing, ETL/ELT, semantic modeling, governance, data quality, and AI-enabled insight delivery. The role reports to the VP of Finance and is a full-time hybrid position based in Salt Lake City, Utah, with approximately three days per week in the office and a salary of $130,000 to $145,000.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 7+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or business intelligence, including at least two years leading or managing a team
Experience prioritizing work and helping a technical team navigate competing requests
Hands-on experience with SQL Server or Azure SQL, data warehousing concepts, and modern data architecture
Experience improving data quality and building data accessibility across systems
Preferred Qualifications: Power BI experience; Tableau or comparable business intelligence experience is transferable
Experience with NetSuite data structures and integration patterns, including Celigo-based ETL
Experience with cloud-native data platforms or Lakehouse architectures
Experience preparing data environments for AI, such as semantic layers, centralized knowledge hubs, or documented data dictionaries
Experience integrating data from acquired businesses into a common reporting platform
Ability to influence stakeholders and drive adoption of data-informed decision-making
