Cohere is hiring a part-time Data Annotation Specialist as an independent contractor to work remotely within Canada for a 12-month contract. The role involves breaking engineering tasks into steps for model training, evaluating model responses, assigning tasks with verified information, labeling and improving engineering-related outputs, and following a style guide. Candidates should have at least three years of engineering experience, preferably in civil, mechanical, electrical, or chemical engineering, along with engineering education and experience with medium- to large-scale engineering projects. The position pays 30 CAD per hour for a minimum of 16 hours per week and does not include employee health benefits.
