Description
The Texas Rangers are hiring Player Development Data Apprentices for its minor-league affiliates. The role operates baseball technology such as Trackman, Edgertronic, Sony Cybershot, and BATS; captures and uploads game video; manages and interprets player data; supports coaches and players with research, analysis, scouting materials, education, and on-field tasks; and troubleshoots technology issues. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, communication and Microsoft Office skills, knowledge of biomechanics or sports science, advanced baseball statistics, teamwork, availability for nights, weekends, and holidays, and willingness to travel 70% of the job.
