CMT Services Inc. is hiring a Data Architect for a one-year base contract with one-year option periods at the U.S. Department of Agriculture in Washington, DC. The role is hybrid, mostly remote, and requires the Data Architect to design enterprise data strategy, models, integration patterns, governance standards, and cloud architecture; lead data modernization and Databricks Lakehouse initiatives; coordinate migrations; manage metadata and systems integration; and transfer knowledge. Candidates need at least five years of progressive federal government experience in data architecture, strategy, and modernization, along with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related technical discipline.
