Description

Lam Research is hiring a Sr. Technical Program Manager to support digital transformation in its Global Business Intelligence Solutions group. The role designs and develops data engineering, integration, data governance, analytics, and AI solutions; coordinates with business, data architecture, and development teams; and advises on complex analytics and Data Fabric platforms. It requires extensive experience with cloud data engineering, SQL, Azure, Databricks, Spark, Python, and medallion architecture, along with a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. The position offers hybrid work arrangements and a San Francisco Bay Area salary range of $137,000 to $287,000.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, Data Science, Analytics, or a relevant Engineering field
Required Previous Experiences: 12+ years of experience with modern data engineering, data warehousing, and data lake technologies on cloud platforms
10+ years of SQL experience with cloud-native data warehousing and data modeling
5+ years of experience building and supporting FP&A applications and integrating platforms with ERP systems and Azure data platforms
5+ years of experience configuring Azure cloud and SaaS platforms and building automated ETL/ELT pipelines
3+ years of experience with Spark and Python for big data processing
3+ years of hands-on experience implementing end-to-end medallion architecture with Databricks or similar cloud tools
Experience with schema design and dimensional data modeling
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s or PhD
Experience with financial planning platforms and related business processes
Experience analyzing large datasets in IoT and enterprise domains
Strong computer science and mathematics foundation
Excellent SQL/query writing and communication skills
Familiarity with REST and SOAP APIs
