statworx is hiring a Data Engineer specializing in data lakehouse and warehouse architecture, data models, ETL/ELT pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and data governance. The role also supports AI-related data use cases such as vector databases, embeddings, and RAG, advises customers on data technologies, and mentors junior colleagues. It requires a master's degree, at least five years of relevant experience, strong SQL, Python, and Bash/Shell skills, and familiarity with cloud platforms, distributed systems, and modern data platforms. The position is based in statworx's Frankfurt office, with regular remote work and up to four weeks per year abroad in the European Union.
