Description
The role leads the Data Center & Rooms team and owns hardware operations and data center and IT room services across national and international locations. Responsibilities include maintaining stable and secure operations, planning modernization and consolidation projects, establishing standardized operations, managing an x86 server platform, ensuring availability and compliance, overseeing external service providers, and advancing standardization, automation, and service orientation. The position is based in Berlin, Bremen, Düsseldorf, Kassel, Kiel, or Unterlüß, or possibly remotely, and requires a relevant degree, several years of data center and edge computing leadership experience, and knowledge of data center standards, power systems, DCIM, capacity planning, and ITSM tools.
