Description
The Data Center Chief Engineer serves as the primary escalation point for electrical, mechanical, fire/life safety, and other critical data center facility systems. The role oversees routine and emergency maintenance, root-cause analysis, safety and compliance, vendor coordination, training, reporting, and facility performance optimization, while supporting AWS infrastructure operations. Candidates need at least three years of relevant electrical or mechanical facilities maintenance experience, Microsoft Office experience, and experience with technical procedures and engineering drawings. The position is based in Hobart, Indiana, with a base salary of $96,000 to $166,300 annually, and Amazon does not sponsor visas for this role.
