Amazon is hiring a Data Center Chief Engineer in Frankfurt to maintain the electrical, mechanical, and fire/life-safety systems supporting AWS data centers. The role oversees daily operations and maintenance, emergency response, root-cause analysis, equipment troubleshooting, training, project delivery, vendor coordination, safety compliance, and availability reporting. It requires a bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or a related field, experience with vendor management, data centers or critical environments, data center engineering or operations, and Microsoft Office; electrical or mechanical journeyman and operating engineering licenses are preferred.
