AWS is hiring a Data Center Civil Engineer in Herndon, Virginia, to lead civil engineering designs for Amazon Data Centers. The role manages external civil design consultants, reviews site layouts, grading, power substations, stormwater, and utilities, coordinates with architectural, structural, and MEP teams, develops Civil 3D concepts and design standards, prepares design RFPs, and manages multiple fast-paced projects. Candidates need regional building-code knowledge, a professional engineering license or plan to acquire one within 12 months, and at least three years of commercial, warehouse, or industrial site-civil design experience. The position offers a base salary of $96,600 to $160,000 annually plus benefits.
