Description
AWS is hiring a Data Center Commissioning Engineer to support the construction and commissioning of electrical and mechanical systems in Amazon-owned data centers. The role oversees vendor and contractor activities, reviews design documents and equipment submittals, leads factory witness testing, manages onsite pre-functional, functional, and integrated systems testing, resolves technical issues, audits commissioning activities, and reports project progress and metrics. The position requires at least five years of relevant engineering, installation, or startup/commissioning experience, a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field, and up to 25% domestic and international travel. The listed base salary is 116,800 to 160,000 USD annually in Covington, Georgia.
