Description
AWS is hiring a Data Center Commissioning Engineer (CxE) to oversee testing and validation of electrical and mechanical infrastructure in Amazon-owned data centers. The role reviews design documents, leads Factory Witness Testing, manages third-party commissioning vendors, develops and audits test plans and reports, coordinates with engineering, operations, and contractor teams, and resolves technical issues across multiple inflight projects. The position requires at least five years of relevant engineering, installation, or commissioning experience, a bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent experience, domestic and international travel of up to 80%, and US citizenship. It is based in Atlanta, Charlotte, Austin, Dallas, or Houston, with a base salary of $116,800 to $160,000 annually.
