Element Critical is hiring a Data Center Controls Engineer for an on-site role in Austin, Texas, reporting to the Director of Facility Operations. The position supports a 24/7 operational model with a rotating on-call schedule and is responsible for designing, implementing, commissioning, maintaining, and troubleshooting building automation, building management, electrical power management, SCADA, and industrial control systems across data centers. The role also manages vendor and contractor relationships, project documentation, safety, budgets, performance reporting, and customer integrations. Candidates should have a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, five years of data center or critical facility experience, and five years of experience with building management systems, PLC programming, and SCADA architecture.
