Description
HDR is hiring a Data Center Electrical Engineer for its Building Engineering Services team in Denver, Colorado. The role focuses on end-to-end electrical design for data center and mission-critical building projects, including feasibility reports, construction documents, specifications, engineering calculations, multidisciplinary coordination, code-compliance reviews, construction support, RFI responses, shop drawing reviews, and site investigations. The engineer will also mentor and coordinate junior electrical engineers, EITs, and BIM specialists, lead electrical discussions, and collaborate with clients, architects, project managers, contractors, and governing agencies. A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an electrical emphasis, previous building electrical design experience, a professional engineering license, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Revit, SKM, AGI, and Easy Power are required.
