Cloudflare is hiring a Data Center Engineer to maintain and improve its global network infrastructure across data center colocation environments. The role collaborates with SRE, Network Engineering, Network Deployment Engineering, vendors, and partners; manages remote contractors; maintains operational availability; supports network configuration; develops documentation and operational processes; and participates in a shared on-call rotation. Required experience includes Juniper, Cisco, and DWDM networking, at least four years of Linux systems administration, remote contractor management, data center infrastructure operations, operational process improvement, and basic program management. The position is available in Austin, Atlanta, Seattle, Washington DC, and Denver, with estimated annual salaries of $120,000–$165,000 for Washington D.C. Metro and Kirkland-based hires and $98,000–$135,000 for Colorado-based hires.
