Description
AWS is hiring Data Center Technicians to join its expanding Infrastructure Operations team and support the operation and maintenance of IT infrastructure and hardware in AWS Cloud regions. The role troubleshoots and repairs hardware, fiber, networking, and related data center issues; performs root cause analysis, break-and-fix repairs, decommissions, media removal, and first responder duties; follows safety protocols; and communicates through tickets and task tracking. The position requires computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience, computer networking experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and fluent English, with data center experience, a relevant bachelor's degree, customer-facing problem resolution, Linux, and network protocol knowledge preferred. The role involves shift-based schedules, including nights, weekends, and on-call rotations.
