Description
AWS is hiring a Data Center Engineering Operation Engineer to own the operation and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, fire/life safety, and other critical data center infrastructure. The role manages incidents and emergency responses, contractors and vendors, preventive and corrective maintenance, asset and inventory management, compliance audits, energy and environmental programs, reporting, and rack-level installation and decommissioning. It requires a bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or a related field, at least four years of relevant data center or critical-environment experience, and Microsoft Office experience; five years of data center or mission-critical facilities experience and an operating engineering license are preferred.
