AWS is hiring a Data Center Engineering Operations Engineer to maintain the mechanical, electrical, and fire-safety infrastructure of AWS data centers. The role oversees equipment operation and maintenance, supports engineering teams with troubleshooting and training, performs root-cause analysis, manages escalations and emergency response, assists with new facility design, and leads large-scale projects. The position requires a bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or a related field, vendor management experience, data center or critical-environment experience, data center engineering or operations experience, and Microsoft Office proficiency; electrical or mechanical journeyman and operating engineering licenses are preferred.
