Description
AWS is hiring a Data Center Engineering Operation Engineer to manage electrical, mechanical, fire/life safety, power, cooling, and rack infrastructure in data centers. The role includes contractor and vendor oversight, corrective and preventative maintenance, performance reporting, troubleshooting, rack installation and decommissioning, and coordination with data center operations teams. It requires a bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or a related field, at least three years of data center engineering or operations experience, and Microsoft Office experience; five years of experience and an operating engineering license are preferred. The work may involve shifts up to 12 hours and on-call rotations.
