Description
AWS is hiring a Data Center Engineering Technician to support the operation and maintenance of mission-critical electrical, mechanical, and HVAC equipment in data centers. The role includes supervising contractors, performing limited maintenance, troubleshooting facility and rack-level events, conducting root cause analysis, monitoring operational metrics, enforcing safety protocols, and working on-call and rotating shifts. Candidates need an associate or technical degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or a relevant discipline, English fluency, and at least two years of data center or mission-critical environment experience; a bachelor’s degree, four or more years of data center operation experience, and Microsoft Office experience are preferred.
