AWS is hiring a Data Center Engineering Operations Manager to lead Zone Managers and Site Facility Managers responsible for data center facility infrastructure. The role oversees compute, engineering, logistics, and security operations teams; manages data center build-outs, expansions, mechanical, electrical, and control systems; handles vendor SLAs, safety, security, availability incidents, and operational improvements. Candidates need a bachelor’s or university degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field, extensive data center and infrastructure management experience, complex project delivery experience, autonomous management of distributed teams, and fluency in French and English. The position is based in Airdrie, Alberta, Canada, with a base salary of CAD 130,300–187,700 annually and requires an active Reliability Status security clearance with the Government of Canada.
