Description
The Data Center Engineering Operations Technician provides 24/7 hands-on electrical and mechanical operations and troubleshooting for AWS data center equipment, including generators, switchboards, UPSs, PDUs, AHUs, pumps, motors, VFDs, and building automation systems. The role performs maintenance, root-cause analysis, operational readings, CMMS workflows, contractor supervision, emergency response, and safety procedures, with rotating 12-hour shifts and 3-, 4-, or 5-day work weeks. Candidates must be United States citizens, hold an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph, and have at least four years of relevant work experience; data center engineering experience and an engineering degree are preferred. The position is based in Alexandria, Virginia, with a base salary of $37.00 to $65.00 per hour.
