Amazon is hiring a Data Center Operations and Maintenance Engineer to operate and maintain the electrical and mechanical infrastructure of AWS-owned data centers. The role includes hands-on preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, emergency response, safety and fire-protection operations, equipment monitoring, documentation, contractor coordination, and facility upkeep. It is a 100% onsite, shift-based position covering day, night, weekends, and holidays, with a minimum gross base salary of 30,900 EUR annually in Milan, Italy.
