Description
The Data Center Engineering Operations Technician (EOT) maintains and troubleshoots data center electrical and mechanical infrastructure, including UPS, MV electrical systems, generators, cooling systems, switchgear, PDUs, AHUs, fire detection, and building automation. The role performs frequent site interventions, critical switching, preventive maintenance, incident response, monitoring, documentation, and continuous improvement, while reporting to the Data Center Engineering Operations Manager. It requires a high school diploma or equivalent, knowledge of electrical theory, EU national status, and preferably data center engineering, mechanical/HVAC and controls experience, and German B2 proficiency. The position is available for full-time and part-time employment and may require a 24x7 schedule, work at heights, physical shift work, and work in a noisy environment.
