Description
AWS is hiring an Engineering Operations Technician to maintain, monitor, troubleshoot, repair, and support mission-critical data center facility equipment, including electrical power systems, UPS units, diesel generators, cooling systems, pumps, motors, fire and life safety equipment, and building management systems. The role performs building rounds, rack installs and decommissioning, preventive maintenance, root cause analysis, technical writing, work-request management, and on-site contractor support, with flexible day, night, weekend, and on-call schedules. Candidates need at least two years of relevant work experience and two years of electrical or mechanical experience; data center engineering experience and a relevant engineering degree are preferred. The position is available at multiple United States locations with hourly base pay ranging from $33.89 to $65.91.
