Description
AWS is hiring an Engineering Operations Technician to maintain, monitor, troubleshoot, repair, and support mission-critical data center electrical and mechanical systems, including generators, switchgear, UPS units, cooling equipment, and building automation. The role involves daily facility rounds, preventive maintenance, rack-level work, technical writing, contractor oversight, and on-site support across one or more locations, with shifts that may include evenings, overnights, weekends, and on-call rotations. Candidates need at least one year of Microsoft Office experience and one year of electrical or mechanical facilities maintenance experience; data center engineering experience and a related technical degree are preferred. The position is based in Hilliard, Ohio, with starting pay of 32.88 to 57.50 USD per hour.
