Description
The Data Center Engineering Operations Technician (EOT) is Amazon’s front-line responder for hands-on electrical and mechanical equipment troubleshooting and operation in data centers. The role covers standby diesel generators, switchboards, UPSs, PDUs, AHUs, pumps, motors, VFDs, and building automation systems, including 24/7 rotating shifts, root-cause analysis, limited maintenance, CMMS workflows, contractor supervision, and off-hour emergency response. Candidates must be United States citizens, hold an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph, and have at least two years of relevant work experience; four or more years of data center engineering experience and a relevant bachelor’s degree are preferred. The position is based in Aurora, Colorado, with a base salary of $37.00–$65.00 USD per hour.
