Description
AWS is hiring a Data Center Engineering Operations Technician to operate and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, generator, fire/life-safety, HVAC, and building-automation equipment in cleared AWS data centers. The role provides 24/7 shift coverage, including 12-hour rotating shifts, and includes routine equipment checks, preventive maintenance, root-cause analysis, contractor supervision, emergency response, and facility maintenance. Candidates must be United States citizens, obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with a polygraph, and have at least one year of relevant electrical, mechanical, or data-center experience; a high school diploma or equivalent is required. The position is based in Aurora, Colorado, with starting pay of 32.88–57.50 USD per hour.
