Description
AWS is hiring a Data Center Engineering Operations Technician to operate and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, generator, fire/life-safety, HVAC, and building-automation equipment in data centers. The role performs limited maintenance, root-cause analysis, operational monitoring, contractor supervision, emergency response, and CMMS workflow management while working rotating 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends. Candidates must be United States citizens, obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with a polygraph, and have at least two years of relevant experience; four years of data center engineering experience and a relevant bachelor's degree are preferred. The position is based in Aurora, Colorado, with a base salary of 37.64–65.91 USD per hour.
