Description
The Data Center Engineering Operations Technician (EOT) maintains and troubleshoots electrical and mechanical data center infrastructure, including UPS, MV electrical systems, generators, cooling, switchgear, fire detection, and building automation systems. The role performs frequent site interventions, critical switching, preventive maintenance, incident response, monitoring, documentation, and continuous improvement, while reporting to the Data Center Engineering Operations Manager. It requires a high school diploma or equivalent, knowledge of electrical competencies and theory, and preferably data center engineering and mechanical systems experience. The position may be full-time or part-time and requires a 24x7 schedule where applicable, physical work, and work at heights.
