Description
AWS is hiring a Data Center Engineering Operations Technician to operate, troubleshoot, maintain, and monitor electrical, mechanical, generator, fire/life-safety, and building-automation equipment in AWS data centers. The role provides 24/7 shift coverage, including 12-hour rotating shifts, and includes emergency response, root-cause analysis, preventive maintenance, contractor supervision, CMMS workflows, and physical work at heights and in uneven terrain. Candidates must be United States citizens, hold an active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility, and have at least two years of relevant work experience; four or more years of data center engineering experience and a relevant engineering degree are preferred. The position is based in Plain City, Ohio, with a base salary of 37.64–65.91 USD per hour.
